This is the story or "lore" of Fall Guys. Lore is usually what occurs in cinematic trailers. The Fall Guys lore started in Season 5 (Legacy) and continued until the Scrapyard Stumble Update, when cinematic trailers stopped and their respective characters were indirectly retired

Story

Before Season 1 (Legacy)

All Fall Guys were spawned into existence through unknown means and forced to compete in different types of levels in attempts to win Crowns.

Season 5 (Legacy)

While other Fall Guys compete in Course, Survival and Points levels, a white bean scientist named Silent works in an underground lab beneath Party Promenade. They are a Showrunner who worked to constuct the game's earliest levels, but had become curious about the outside world and wanted to get a message out.[1] They monitored beans participating in previous Seasons, but most prominently Pink and his friends, who were in the middle of stealing a Crown from an ancient temple.[2]

Season 6 (Legacy)

Before the race, the beans watch Brick Bobby pushing a Rhino until Clovis arrives to adjust the creature, unintentionally making the Rhino angry by using a wrench and increasing its intensity level into overdrive. This results in a rampage, with the beans quickly fleeing the scene. As Pink and Clovis travel throughout Party Promenade, Silent continues to operate underneath the level, recruiting Banana as their assistant. During their free time, they both developed blueprints to create a Satellite, capable of communicating an important message with the Fall Guys of other Seasons. Banana's distracted and timid characterisation is introduced as Pink and Clovis travel through a pipe and distract the pair, leading Silent to startle and discipline their assistant for not paying attention. Meanwhile, Pink and Clovis reach for the Crown... until Pineapple Party pushes the pair away, taking it for themselves.[3]

Season 1 (Free-for-All)

Free-for-All Opening Ceremony

At an undefined point in time, Pink races to a stadium and is accompanied by Clovis. Silent, who was at the stadium, orders Banana to pilot a case containing a Blast Ball towards Hypebean, the renowned idol of the Blunderdome. After losing control of the Blast Ball and causing various shinanigans (including knocking over various members of a marching band and beans competing in a relay race), Hypebean activates the ball inside the case to launch a beam towards the completed Satellite, which signals Fall Guys from Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. This signals other Pink variations: Rookie, Paladin, Peppy Penguin, The Diva Project and Muddy Explorer. The cinematic ends with Stache drawing a picture of a Crown in the window of the satellite, as they float within the orbit of the Blunderdome.[4][5]

Season 2 (Satellite Scramble)

Trouble with the Satellite

The satellite begins to malfunction and Sally and Stache inside try to fix it. The button they are trying to press isn't working, so they eject from the satellite. Silent, watching from below through a telescope, teleports into the satellite to find the button wasn't plugged in to the outlet. Shaking his head, he plugs it in and pushes the button, which expands the satellite. Later, when the two beans are flung back into the satellite, they find Silent standing in front of something. When he turns around, he nods them over and slinks away, revealing a strange belt. On a nearby screen, it depicts the Satellite, the Blunderdome, and a mysterious wormhole.[6]

Wormhole Wanderers

Later, Silent and Banana observe the controls and analytics of the Satellite, until a wormhole suddenly appears behind them. They contemplate their actions for a few seconds, before Silent jumps into it.[7] Soon afterward, the screen that displayed the wormhole is flashing to initiate an emergency, leading the beans to panic and impulsively press buttons to solve the crisis. Silent stays calm, grabs their belt, and dashes out of the control room. They then walk down a hallway, taking off a metal grate to step into a room with a giant unknown machine, flashing warning signs to suggest it was the cause of the emergency, They look inside it, noticing a Pegwin triggering a fault as it was caught in the wires. They reach reach into the machine to remove the Pegwin, but gets caught on a wire themselves and is instantly immobilized by the flow of energy.[8]

Silent's Memories

Silent remembers creating and testing beta levels such as Door Dash, Hex-A-Gone, and Pegwin Pool Party. As he is remembering, multiple wormholes open in the control room that lead to Silent's memories. Banana takes responsibility for the emergency, commanding one bean to go into a central wormhole and another bean to go to the one next to it. The first bean enters his wormhole successfully, but the second one stumbles and ends up being caught in a smaller wormhole that hasn't fully developed, leading Banana to slap their forehead in frustration.[8] They then jump into a wormhole that ultimately sends them to the room where Silent is in the wires of the machine, seemingly mind-controlled as their eyes glow white. Banana pulls them out and Silent's eyes return to their normal colour, gaining awareness of the cataclysmic surroundings. Suddenly, the wormhole that was depicted on the screen at the beginning of Season 2 appears in front of them, creating a sucking wind which forces Banana's iconic eyebrows to come off. Silent is picked up by the winds generated by the wormhole and is sucked into transport, with their assistant quickly following behind.[9]

Season 3 (Sunken Secrets)

Exploring the Ruins

Silent and Banana fly through the wormhole at a fast velocity, and are spit out in an aquarium-like destination. While they look around, Silent's aforementioned mysterious belt starts to glow. Banana's curiosity is piqued by the item, but Silent slaps their hand away and insists that they should wait for its true purpose. Upon realising they have arrived in the Lost City as a giant aquatic animal creates a shadow over them, multiple beans have seemingly travelled through the same wormhole and start to fly into the room. Pushing by Silent and their assistant, Pink is the first to appear, looking around before travelling down a big slime slide. Upon reaching the bottom, they once again look around in awe at beans performing antics like getting hit by a giant hammer and attempting to grab a Crown on a statue of the Lost City legend, Poseibean. They walk over to a tentacle when a bean inadvertently activates it, causing them to be flung by a variety of scenes, including Otterly Dashing holding the Time Attack chronometer. Clovis has also arrived in the Lost City, and is seen running over to a window to watch a pufferfish, before becoming startled and falling off a ledge as it enlarges. When they stand back up, they observe a conch shell beacon in the centre of the aquarium, eventually tinkering with it using a screwdriver to activate it. It powers up and shoots a beam through a hole in the roof to the surface of the ocean. The beam makes Silent's belt starts to glow again, causing them to levitate and spin in the air, before the belt transforms into none other than the Digi-Drive Belt. When they lands back on the ground, the Lost City has already become a giant party of Captain Gullys and Shorks, with Hypebean having also arrived through a wormhole to lead the crowd.[10]

Gift Grab

Meanwhile, Sally and Stash investigate the new location and snap pictures of the new environment, specifically a mysterious hole in a wall. Suddenly, the Lobstar darts around in the hole. The beans are startled and look around in the hole. Then a bright light illuminates them, casting a shadow of a mysterious bean and causing Sally to drop her camera, which activates and prints a picture of the two huddled together in fear. The mysterious bean reveals himself to be Poseibean, and confetti rains down on them. The Lobstar and another bean give presents to Sally and Stash, and Poseibean runs to hug them. Other beans appear as well--citizens of the Lost City--with some carrying gifts.[11]

Season 4 (Creative Construction)

Final Chapter

While the crowd is seen partying in the ruins, Banana touches Silent's belt, where it includes "Creative". This leads to warping in the blue blank space, until they encounter Digi. Digi teaches both of them to use creative modes in order to build their stages, which reveals to be a digital environment. The story ends with Silent pressing the button one last time to creative stages.

Post-Season Chapters

Warriors of Light

Continuing in Season 4, the Fall Guys (alongside the White Mage) compete for a show, until Fat Chocobo, Namazu, and Goobbue suddenly arrive to compete a game, with the second one knocking the first and third down. Dragoon also competes in the show, only to get launched by a Yeetus. While running, Alisaie and Alphinaud appears on the podium with Dragoon dropping on stage causing both, Fat Chocobo, Goobbue, and Namazu to fall and start their poses.

Pink's Return

Pink (who is lazy) is seen watching Fall Guys cinematics, but he suddenly notices that the other Fall Guys come over and enter the show. He also notices that there is a Creative stage coming up too with others having fun with mechanics, like a Mallard using the fan block to push the lime green Fall Guy in order to reach the hill, the blue Fall Guy uses the punch glove block to knock the Paladin down, and the orange Fall Guy launching the Pigeon and orange and blue Fall Guy on the ground. Pink returns to compete for a show once again.

Mobile Release

Silent walks on stage in front of a crowd of beans (including Pink) to reveal that Fall Guys is getting a mobile port, which makes the crowd start cheering. However, as Silent was trying to showcase more info on the mobile port, they accidentally show pictures of private moments of their holiday, including an image where they share a pool with Pegwins. As they try to revert the slideshow to its intended purpose, the mobile device malfunctions and the entire crowd get sucked into the phone. Confused, Silent looks at the empty crowd.

Meanwhile, we see Pink falling face first into the ground after getting sucked into the phone. Almost immediately, he gets up and realizes he landed in front of a Door. After looking at it for a few seconds, Pink jumps out of the way when six beans leap through the door, one of them being a blue bean holding a Blast Ball, but tragically for him, the Blast Ball explodes whilst on his hands. Once the smoke from the explosion clears up, we see a Pegwin running away from Pink, who's chasing it. After a little bit of running, the Pegwin notices that there's a giant Rotating Hammer right in front of it, so it immediately turns around. Pink, not anticipating this, trips as soon as the Pegwin goes past him and nearly gets hit by the hammer, but he swiftly moves away from it.

Then, Pink finds himself with a group of beans on a See Saw, where a yellow bean holding the Pegwin from earlier accidentally causes the entire world to tilt angles, causing everyone to fall off the See Saw. Soon after, we see Pink, along with the yellow and two other ones, land at the start of an obstacle course. While the other two beans get flung away by a single Punching Glove, the yellow bean easily avoids and even jumps over a static Rotating Beam. However, he winds up getting caught in a moving Rotating Beam, which spins him around so fast, that the yellow bean starts hallucinating and gets knocked out. Pink, being the friendly bean he is, jumps directly above him, and even rolls across the ground after doing so. Eventually, when he reaches the edge of the platform, he jumps across two Drums, and soon after, is launched by a Slingus Flingus onto a Punching Block, which he grabs and falls down with. Once reaching the ground, he sees that same Pegwin running towards a bright light, so Pink decides to follow it with the Punching Block.

We go back to the conference room where Silent is still at, and we see that the Pegwin jumps out of the phone, with Pink jumping out shortly after. Silent, still confused, looks at the punching glove Pink was holding, and gets punched away by it. After that, Pink grabs the phone and shows it to the viewers.

Later, players helped Silent find the most popular ways to fall.
