Materials are properties that can be added to various blocks and Primitives. They were introduced in the Winter Update and are exclusive to Fall Guys Creative.

General information

When an object is given a Material, its properties change. Its texture is updated to match the Material, but its Colour Palette can still be altered.^[1] Objects that have been given a specific material cannot be made destructible, and vice versa.

Available Materials

Slime

Objects that have been given the Slime Material behave in the same manner as a Respawn Zone. They share a texture with the Respawn Zone as well. Due to issues with latency, players may land on a object with Slime for a split second before a hit is registered, and a hit may register even without physical contact. Players can perform a frame-perfect dive off of an object with Slime to avoid a registered hit.

Objects with Slime are often used to imitate water (as in Slimeball Showdown), or paired with physics to create deadly Projectiles like slimeballs.

Trivia

• Padded Pillars are the only objects without access to the Colour Palette that can be given a Material, losing their original colours in the process.
