Physics is a feature that can be applied to various objects in Fall Guys Creative. It was first introduced in the Scrapyard Stumble Update.[1]
General information
Objects that have been given physics react to gravity, as well as to other forces from players and obstacles. Their weight can be set to Light, Medium, or Heavy. Creators can also toggle whether an object is grabbable, effectively making it a resizable Push Box. Giving an object physics increases its cost by 30 budget. If the object is already destructible, the budget is increased by 20 instead.
Physics objects can do most things that projectiles can do, like breaking destructible objects, as well as activate Trigger Zones if "Physics Objects" or "Draggable Objects" is set as the zone's Trigger Object.
Uses
In the absence of more than two themes as well as certain obstacles, objects like primitives are often given physics to recreate the following obstacles:
- Projectiles (specifically rolling balls, snowballs, Slim Jims, slimeballs, etc.)
- See-saws (sometimes paired with Punching Gloves to behave like Flippity Bippities)
- 360° see-saws
- Gates (when paired with objects linked to a Rotation Controller)
- Moving Blocks
Compatible objects
Aside from Edges and Dividers, most resizeable objects such as Padded Floors are incompatible, as well as obstacles, decorations, and moving surfaces.
