The Dive Slide^[1] (or dive slide) is an ability in Fall Guys that allows players to move quickly along certain slippery slopes. It was first introduced in Season 3. To perform a Dive Slide, players must dive onto a slope that is covered with either slime, ice or water. While sliding, they can change their direction or jump.

A player should not attempt to Dive Slide on an uphill slope; they will only slide if the angle of the slope is better than slightly worse of horizontal, relative to the direction they are facing. Otherwise, they will simply fall flat on their face.

In Fall Guys Creative, it is possible to Dive Slide on floors submerged with water from the Blunderbeach Background, likely to imitate swimming.

Helpful techniques

• On a slippery floor, players can repeatedly jump, dive, and Dive Slide in order to gain speed.
  • This is only recommended on floors that are horizontal (or close to horizontal).
• While players can slide uphill after already initiating a slide, this is not recommended. Players should either switch to running or try to jump over the slope if it's small enough.

Levels

Below is list of all the places in Classic Levels where beans can dive-slide. It is possible to dive-slide on 26 out of 82 Classic levels.

While almost all of these levels were created without the Dive Slide in mind, some represent paths that have become more efficient than the previously intended routes.

Hoop Chute	The entire level is made up from Slime Slides. Different levels of slides can be taken.
Hoverboard Heroes	A small slime section is present on the first island.
Knight Fever	There is a big slime ramp between the Thicc Bonkus and Log sections of the Level.
Leading Light	On a small circular floor in the middle.
Lily Leapers	It is possible to Dive Slide on the ramp on the upper section, near the waterfalls. It is also possible to Dive Slide on the water in the below section.
Lost Temple	It is possible to Dive Slide on the ramp behind and in the water below the crown. It is possible to Dive Slide in the following rooms: Frog Room #1 Frog Room #2
Party Promenade	In the giant funnel. On the section where the beans drop down and resume backwards. On the Big Swingus section, on the side ramps with the Pivot Platforms. On the final ramp of the level that lead into Vacuum Tubes.
Pegwin Pool Party	On the whirling slide in the back. On the slides in the front of the level. On the water spread throughout the level.
Puzzle Path	On the starting ramp of the level. On the various slides after entering a correct Wormhole.
Ski Fall	On each of the three ice ramps that make up the level.
Skyline Stumble	On the slime ramp after finding the correct path in the Forcefield maze.
Slime Climb	Even though the slime ramp in the first Rotating Hammer section may seem steep, players can slide on it in any direction. The slime ramp after the 90 degree turn on the top of the Level.
Snowball Survival	The entire bowl is made of ice, so the bowl is slideable, but the ice-tiles are not.
Space Race	On the ramp under the hex-tiles in said section. On the two slime slides on the top path in the final section of the Level.
Speed Slider	The entire level is made from slime ramps and slime slides.
Sum Fruit	It is possible to Dive Slide on the small slide ramps on the side of the bowl.
Team Tail Tag	On the centre of the level is a slime pyramid, which is slideable from all angles.
The Slimescraper	On the walls of the level to make you fall down a level. On the floor of the Light Swinger section.
Track Attack	On the four small slides after the first corner. On the big centre slide after the first corner. On the two final slime slides on either side nearing the finish line.
Treetop Tumble	On the slime ramp at the start of the level. In the water after the first slime ramp. On the slime slides on the upper level after the water/Drum section. In the water in the water/Drum section. On the slime slides in the final section.
Tundra Run	On the icy Trench with the Punching Gloves. On the side ice ramps with Bumpers. On the final ice floors with the Slingus Flinguses.

Trivia

• There are a few slippery floors in the game that cannot be slid on:
  • The lower part of the arena in Airtime, and
  • The ice tiles in Thin Ice, Snowball Survival, and a variation of Ski Fall.
