Gauntlets, also known as obstacle courses^[1], are a special type of COURSE level in Fall Guys. Gauntlets use the theme of the Season they are released in. They mainly feature obstacles that were introduced in said Season, as well as plenty of other obstacles. Gauntlets are usually given sky-oriented backgrounds. They share a unique filename, "gauntlet_##", with "##" being a number depicting the release order.

Usually, only one gauntlet was released each Season, with the exception of Season 1 (Legacy), which had three, and Season 3 and Season 4, which both had none.

There are currently ten gauntlets in the game.

Trivia

• The word "gauntlet" is sometimes used to describe any COURSE level.
• Hit Parade is the only gauntlet without a sky-oriented background.
  • It is also the only gauntlet without checkpoints.
• Dizzy Heights and The Whirlygig are the only gauntlets to not feature slimy or icy slopes.
  • Both levels also only have two checkpoints.
• Blastlantis is described to be a ruined gauntlet. The inclusion of a newly-introduced obstacle, the Kraken Tentacle, as well as slimy slopes, supports this.
• Speed Slider could be considered the gauntlet of Season 3, as it is the Dive Slide tutorial, but it lacks some other obstacles this season has.
• Data Streams could be considered the gauntlet of Season 4, due to its moderate duration as well as its inclusion of a newly-introduced obstacle (specifically, the Boom Blaster), slimy slopes, and various other obstacles.
