Block Party is one of the levels in Fall Guys. It is a SURVIVAL level and was first introduced in the beta version.

Course description

Standard version

Block Party is a survival game. It consists of dodging obstacles while staying on a platform - players have to avoid the obstacles, which can cause them to fall down and get eliminated. The round ends either after 1:45 has passed, or until all but one player has been eliminated. The obstacles can be moving walls, wooden platforms that must be jumped or wall "traps" that must be avoided. The obstacles rise from the slime and pass over the platform. Over time, the difficulty of the obstacles and/or their speed increases (the latter being represented by decreasing gaps in between obstacles). The obstacles can come together, and start eliminating a great number of players. The difficulty is also compounded by the relatively large number of players on the limited-size platform.

Block Party can be divided into three phases:

The last phase will now exist of stairs as well. The last phase will also choose between two versions: An easier "safe" version, where there are traps, but players can move out of them. And a "hard" version, where every trap will eliminate players who fall in them.[4][5]

Course Strategy

Standard version

The strategies of this level are all about having good timing. The first phase of obstacles are slow and few, so they can be easily dodged. Be weary of 'traps' as they can really catch you off guard and eliminate you, mitigate this by staying near the middle of the platform, so you have a clear view of whats to come.

The second and final phases are full of jumps, don't try to land on top of the yellow beams, as they will drag you to the slime! Just jump over them.

The final phase is also the most congested, so be extra careful for grabbers here. It is best to stay near the front here, as there are no 'traps' in the last phase. Staying in the back is also possible, as not a lot of players stay here, but look out for any players that failed up ahead, as they way bodyblock into you and make you fall into the slime.

Advanced Techniques

Variations

Variation Strategy
Name Picture Strategy
Parkour Party ViewBlockParty Stair Each phase has new 'stair' and 'walkable' blocks added:

The first phase immediately makes you face stairs, but don't worry, as these are fully optional, only really take the stairs if your confident in doing so, or if there are too many people on the ground floor, as bodyblocking may become an issue there. To face the stairs just keep on jumping and divefrom block to block when the gap is too wide, be weary for grabbers as coming to a stop on top of the blocks will make you move to the slime, as the blocks are a sort of Conveyor Belt.

The second phase introduces wider stairs, but yet again these are fully optional. The paths do cross each other a few times, so you'll have to weave from left or right either way. Jumping over the yellow beams are also introduced here yet again, and as they are smaller, be more careful of grabbers. Tackle the stairs and blocks just like with the first phase.

The final phase has also become way harder, as you're now forced onto the stairs. The final stairs come in two variants, look out for which one it is. One of them is entirely made of traps, one mishap and you fall. Watch out for grabbers, bodyblocking and clipping. Clipping into the floor makes you come to a full stop, so be extra weary for this, as it may come unexpectedly. So, to mitigate this, stop yourself just before a jump and then jump dive to the next platform. Jumping in general is best to mitigate clipping. The second variant of the final stair phase is a safer version, there will always be a way to get back to the stairs if you fall, so the dangers listed above don't apply as much here.

Mixed Variation ViewBlockParty Mix Follow both the strategies for the standard version and 'Parkour Party'
Easy Run Variation ViewBlockParty Easy No 'trap' type Blocks means that paying attention is less necessary than before. The easier formations also make it easier too maneuver through the blocks.
